Two Teens Arrested for Promoting Prostitution in Carbondale

Building/Vehicle

Two teenagers have been arrested for running a juvenile prostitution ring in Carbondale.

Carbondale Police say 19-year-old Justice N.S. Webb, and 19-year-old Alyssa Walker have each been charged with two counts of promoting juvenile prostitution, with bond for each set at $500,000.
Both Webb and Walker were located and arrested on the warrants by the Marion Police Department. They are incarcerated in the Jackson County Jail.

Carbondale Police and the FBI initiated an investigation into juvenile prostitution that was occurring in and around the City of Carbondale in the fall of 2015.

During the course of the investigation, several suspects were developed who were involved in recruiting juveniles for the purpose of prostitution.

The investigation is continuing.
