With the looming September 30th Census deadline, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker stopped in southern Illinois on Thursday to remind residents that each person who fills out the census, means over a thousand dollars will come to Illinois from the Federal government.
"1,400 dollars per person, that's per year. So we're talking about 14 to 15-thousand dollars that's at stake here, for each person who signs for the census now."
The Governor assured residents that the information will not be shared with police or immigration agencies..
