A campaign to provide Carbondale students, who otherwise could not afford them, with backpacks is going on now through October 31st, 2019.This initiative is the brain-child of Jenna Jamieson.
Jamieson teaches Business and Consumer Education at Carbondale Community High School.
If you would like to drop off a new, or slightly used backpack, look for the brightly colored Drop-off Boxes located in SIU's Morris Library., Carbondale Community High School, or the Neighbhorhood Co-Op.
